Luke 8:26-39
“Let’s Be Who We Say We Are”
Using a lectionary scripture from June 19 (when I was finishing the “Imagine a world” Series), this sermon is inspired by our General Minister’s challenge for us to be who we say we are. Her challenge is mainly in regards to bring a pro reconciliation, anti racism church, but there are other ways that we need to be who we say we are. Also, on this Independence Day weekend, I’ll mention how our nation also needs to examine how it can be who we Americans say we are.
